About  Andrea

Helping you understand your health, so you can make informed choices with confidence.

I combine evidence, science and coaching to help women understand why their health is changing, make sense of what their body is telling them, and discover practical ways to move towards better health that fit their lives.

Medicine gave me knowledge. It also gave me questions.

My journey began in medicine, where I trained as a doctor and worked across trauma medicine and General Practice.

Medicine taught me the importance of knowledge, evidence, and understanding what is happening within the body. I saw first-hand how much expertise, skill, and compassion can change lives.

But it also left me with questions.

From the beginning, I was fascinated by people — what shapes us, what influences how we respond to life, and why two people can experience similar circumstances yet have completely different health journeys.

I began to recognise that health was never just about symptoms, systems, and interventions. Those things matter, but they are only part of the story.

The emotional experiences we carry, the stress we live with, the relationships that shape us, our environment, our lifestyle, and our sense of who we are can all influence how we feel and function.

These connections were rarely explored within traditional medical training. We learned about the body in separate systems, but people do not experience their health in separate parts.

They experience it as a whole person.

I began to recognise that many of the influences that shape health sit outside the traditional medical model.

Life invited me to ask different questions.

Although medicine gave me the foundation for understanding health, it was my own experiences that challenged me to look deeper.

A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis left me feeling defined by a label for a time, waiting for the future I had imagined to be replaced by the limitations I feared might lie ahead.

The end of my marriage brought another unexpected shift in identity, while perimenopause challenged my relationship with my own body in ways I hadn't anticipated.

Like many women, I found myself trying to make sense of changes that affected not only my health, but also how I saw myself and my future.

Those experiences changed more than my circumstances. They changed the questions I was asking.

Instead of asking only, "What is happening to me?" I became curious about, "What is influencing my experience?"

That shift transformed the way I understand health and ultimately led me to coaching.

My qualifications and experience:

Health and Wellbeing Coaching

My approach is shaped by both my medical background and my professional training as a Health and Wellbeing Coach. Together, they provide the knowledge, perspective, and coaching skills that underpin the way I work.

  • I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Wellbeing Coaching, where I trained in evidence-informed coaching, behaviour change, communication, and supporting people to make meaningful, lasting changes that are right for them.

Coaching has given me the framework to help women move beyond simply receiving information, towards developing the understanding, self-trust, and agency to make informed decisions about their own health.

  • Evidence-Based Care: Committed to the highest international benchmarks of coaching excellence.

Medical background

Before becoming a coach, I worked as a medical doctor in trauma medicine and General Practice.

Those years taught me the value of evidence, clinical reasoning, and compassionate care. They also strengthened my belief that while medical knowledge is essential, understanding the person behind the symptoms is equally important.

Today, I bring these experiences together to support women in making sense of their health with curiosity, clarity, and confidence.

"If my approach resonates with you, I'd be delighted to help you make sense of your own health journey."
